How to Consign with Retail Therapy Consignment

Interested in consigning? Here’s what you need to know!

🔹 What We Accept: Women’s current-style clothing & accessories in excellent condition. Items must be clean, folded, and free of stains, holes, odors, or excessive wear.

🔹 Seasonal Only: We accept items based on seasonal guidelines—check our website before dropping off.

🔹 What We Don’t Accept: None authentic items. i.e. dupes/fakes. Pajamas, undergarments, business/formal wear, children’s or men’s clothing, non-fashion items, and select brands. See below for a full list of items and brands we do not accept. This is subject to change.

Consignment Terms

📌 Revenue Split -You Earn More on Higher-Priced Items!      
Items under $100 → 40% Consignor / 60% RTC       
Items $100 - $399 → 50% Consignor / 50% RTC       
Items $400+ → 60%Consignor / 40% RTC    
Luxury brands may qualify for 70% consignor payout!

📌 Consignment Period:   
Items are consigned for 90 days.

After 90 days, unsold items and proceeds become RTC property.

📌 Getting Paid:
Payouts are available upon request (up to $50 cash on site or if your balance its more “woohoo” you’ll
need to request a check).    
Balances must be claimed within 365 days, or they are forfeited.

Cash Buyout Option

💰 Want instant cash? We offer 15-25% of the estimated resale price for buyouts. You must request a buyout at drop-off; otherwise, items will be consigned.

Drop-Off Guidelines

✅ Bring items during our drop-off schedule (we may not accept drop-offs from the 25th through the end of each month).

✅ No plastic bags or boxes—use hangers or store-provided baskets. Hangers will not be returned.

✅ Items we pass on can be donated or picked up within 48 hours.

MEET OUR STANDARDS

Before bringing in your items you MUST look thru them to make sure they are free of stains, holes, broken buttons or zippers. Please know that we are not a donation center. We put great pride and effort into presenting the best quality of items to sell. If something does not look brand new, please DO NOT BRING IT TO US. Items must be turned right side out and folded. Items with excessive wrinkles & bad odors will NOT be accepted. All shoes & purses must be wiped down, pockets cleaned out and no wear showing on the inside or outside (toe marks, peeling materials, scratches etc. If items are brought to us in unsatisfactory condition, it is possible, we will contact you to no longer bring in items. The better your items are presented to us the better chances they have of being chosen to sell and sell at the best prices! Condition matters!!!

 Upon opening an account and or dropping off items you will be asked if you would like for us to DONATE OR GIVE YOU BACK any items we pass on and are not able to use. If you choose to have them back we will do our best to go through your items at the time of drop off. If we are not able to do that we will go through your items within 48 hours. You will be contacted and expected to pick up your items immediately. We reserve the right to donate any items that do not meet our selling standards for conditions that might have been overlooked at the initial time of drop off. 

If you choose for us to DONATE any items, we are not able to use we are happy to do so. Please have your clothing separated  from any accessories. Hanging items are welcomed but your hangers will NOT be returned to you.  We will go thru your items at a later date. We will donate any items that are not in accordance to our guidelines. You will not be contacted by us. The better your items are presented to us the better chances they have of being chosen to sell and sell at the best prices! Condition matters!!!
